| All members start with 17 skill points. There is a significant rule however: 7 of these skill points HAVE TO BE used to make every one of your major skills novice level, and the other 10 may be used freely. No one but a Guildmaster can start the RPG with one of their major skills at Master level. Skill GridThe Skill Grid is essential to your character's progression in this RPG; within it are your character's major skills. The major skills of your character in particular is what makes him/her unique among other things. In order to increase these skills (thus raising your rating on the skill grid) you'll need to follow a couple of prerequisites: 1 st +1 Skill Point: 50 experience points & a 300-word training thread. 2 nd +1 Skill Point: 100 experience points & a 500-word training thread. 3 rd +1 Skill Point: 200 experience points & a 800-word training post/thread. 4 th +1 Skill Point: 300 experience points & a 1000-word training post/thread. 5 th +1 Skill Point: 400 experience points & a 1500-word training post/thread. 6 th +1 Skill Point: 500 experience points & a 2000-word training post/thread. After your 6 th skill point has been earned, you will repeat the cycle. However, increase the experience points by how much it asks you, and follow the word-count required. For example: You have 500 experience points, after having used it to add your 6 th skill point. Now instead of 50 skill points, you'll need to add 50 to your 500 experience points. | |
